I graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) from Western States Chiropractic College in 1995 with achievement awards from both the college and the American Chiropractic Association (ACA). DANA SIBILLA, DC DABCO While opening Blue Heron Chiropractic in 1996, I worked for two years as an adjunct faculty member at the College, assisting in the technique department, and as an Assitant Clinician at the WSCC Outpatient Clinic. I completed postgraduate courses in Chiropractic Orthopedics in 2000 and obtained board certification as a Chiropractic Orthopedist (DABCO) in 2006. I have been a Diplomate of the American Board of Disability Analysts since 2001. I am a member of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), the Chiropractic Association of Oregon (CAO), the American Academy of Spine Physicians (AASP), and The American College of Chiropractic Orthopedists (ACCO). I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Union College in upstate New York in 1984. My career path has involved different aspects of health care, ranging from Emergency Medical Service to recreational rehabilitation for children with brain injuries. I spent years assembling medical and biological evidence for a nationally recognized trial involving Agent Orange and Dioxin, a carcinogen, in which we succeeded in obtaining a jury determination that Dioxin was linked to cancer. That was a particularly exciting time for me, around the time when I got married and then turned to study Chiropractic and then practice healthcare directly. Lately my interests are in spending time with my family including my wife and two little girls, and occasionally, when I get a moment, going sailing. My specific focus on chiropractic orthopedics involves diligent patient eductation, manipulative therapy, rehabilitative exercise, and physiotherapeutics including soft tissue massage and myofascial release. I insist upon using cutting-edge technologies and the top equipment available in the field. I’ve discovered that helping people to feel better and live healthier, more functional lives is my top priority. I will help you to understand your body and to discover the meaning of health and recovery. I believe there is always a higher level of health to strive for, and that even the healthiest people have a higher level of function available to them. Our bodies are complex and we owe them the basic care and maintenance they need.

Referral information is supplied solely by chiropractic providers themselves and is not checked or warranted by the Oregon Chiropractic Association (OCA). Chiropractic providers who register as an Oregon Chiropractic Association Member pay specified annual membership dues. They are put on the Chiropractic Referral List as part of their membership benefits. Any and all chiropractic members who request to be listed on the Referral List are listed and, as a general rule, no one is excluded.

THE OCA DOES NOT RECOMMEND OR ENDORSE ANY OF THE LISTED CHIROPRACTIC SERVICE PROVIDERS. The OCA is not a health care provider, and does not give medical advice or treatment. The OCA offers the Referral List as a resource for patients looking for a chiropractic provider. However, the OCA does not pre-screen or pre-evaluate the facilities or providers in any way before they are put on the list. Nor does the OCA pre-screen, pre-evaluate, or consider the Medicare/Medicaid status of these providers. You are responsible for interviewing and selecting a suitable provider. Therefore, you should contact providers directly for relevant information, such as information on insurance coverage or specific techniques and services.

The OCA does not verify the credentials or licensing of any of the chiropractors before they are listed. If you wish to obtain a provider license status, please go to the Oregon Board of Chiropractic Examiners website.
